Make a Blog That Earns a Monthly Income

Have you ever wondered if blogging can offer a genuine source of income, enough to say, pay your mortgage payments each month, as well as your car payments, and still have some leftover to save or spend?

It might not seem like a realistic proposition, but with the right know-how and a disciplined and persistent approach, the reality is that blogging can be an effective income source.

Create an Ebook

If you are a specialist in a particular field, a creative, or a freelancer with considerable experience, there may be an audience for your ebook.

You’re the writer, so you will know best how to write the book for your audience, but that’s only half the work – you then have to market it. Sell your ebook on Kindle Direct for a reasonable amount – $6 or $7, when your business is properly insured.

Then write blog posts to promote it. If you aren’t getting enough traction from organic ratings, consider Google Ads to boost it.

Market it With Blog Posts

As mentioned above, writing a supporting blog post for your ebook is a fantastic way to improve your organic ranking on search engines and drive sales.

In your blog post, you can demonstrate how your ebook solves a pain point, and you can even include excerpts from the book. Put a call to action at the end of the post, and you should see an improvement in sales on your amazon account.

The blog can be used to promote the book across all digital platforms.

Use Google Ads

If you thought it was enough to create a book and blog post simply, then sit back and count the cash, think again.

It can take some time for search engines to rank your blog in results and when it does, it’s highly reliant on effective keywords and on-page SEO. A superb way around this is to use Google Ads.

For a small fee, you can create text-based ads that appear automatically at the top of relevant search results. Within a short space of time, you should see a difference in your ratings and earnings.

Use Amazon Affiliates

The Amazon Affiliates program is an exceptional strategy for earning money from blog posts.

Even if you are primarily selling a product or service, there is no harm in including Amazon Affiliate. The neat thing is that your reader doesn’t have to buy the exact amazon product listed on your blog. If they buy anything from Amazon by virtue of your link, you will get paid some commission.

Track Your Sales

Finally, it’s important to keep track of all your sales and movements in the online marketplace.

By tracking your sales, you will be able to adjust your prices to improve traffic and sales as well as monitor where your traffic is coming from. Is it organic traffic, or did it arrive through the Google Ads system? Knowing this will allow you to change your marketing strategy for better results.

If you follow these tips and produce quality content, you should get paid for your efforts, and you will.
