Now that the warmer weather is beginning to dawn on us there are so many ways we can enjoy the change in climate in our lives.

A lot of us are more likely to head out for a walk in the countryside, we might want to enjoy the fresh air and get fit for the summer holidays.

Today we are taking a look closer to home with some of the ways that you can bring the fresh air into the home this year.

Have plants

The first method you can use for bringing more fresh air into the house is having plants. Houseplants can be exactly what you need to bring some fresh air into the home because they produce oxygen and release this into the home.

When you are trying to be healthier at home in a small way, plants can be wonderful because they not only produce oxygen but they also reduce stress and make us feel happier.

Air conditioning

A lot of us think of an air conditioning system and immediately think about the office, but there are more ways to use an air conditioner than at work.

You can find central air conditioner prices online and think about installing one in your home this year for ultimate comfort and lots of fresh air. The system can be as complex or simple as you like and it will be ideal to bring some fresh air into the home.

Open the windows

The easiest way to bring fresh air into the home this year is, of course, to open up the windows and let the air flow through the space.

If you are looking for optimum airflow in the home the best thing you can do is to open the windows at the north and the south of the home and let the air move through.

Air usually moves best in this direction so on a hot day in the house this is the quickest way for you to cool down the space and allow it to feel fresh.

Don’t insulate too much

Insulation in our homes is super important because it will allow us to keep the heat in during the winter months and save a lot of money on heating.

However sometimes we can get a little too over the top with our insulation and as a result, we can end up cramming our walls and floors so much that the house cannot breathe.

If you want to make sure that air can flow through the house and that you can prevent issues such as damp and mold, you need to balance your insulation with ventilation.

Allow some air to pass through the walls and the floor and this will make a huge difference to the home overall.

Let there be space

The last thing you want to do if you want fresh air in the home is to cram every room full of furniture and belongings.

Leave some open space in each and every room and this will make a big impact on how you feel at home.
