Next Day Personal Loan Reviews: Good Financial Choice?

Every now and then, many of us run into financial hardship and might find ourselves in need of a loan. I wanted to figure out who the best company was for a loan so I decided to look into Next Day Personal Loan reviews and see how they stacked up.

Here’s what I learned:

Next Day Personal Loan is a lender network. As such they don’t lend money themselves or have many reviews which can be read or a BBB page. However, the lenders they work with, which include Lending Point, Even Financial, and Accredited Debt Relief all have A ratings with the BBB and mostly excellent reviews.

But there’s more to know about Next Day Personal Loan and how easy it is to apply and get accepted. Apply today and get cash in your bank tomorrow.

However, it could take longer to get accepted if your credit score is low.

But, I also read all the reviews of the lenders they work with and learned a few surprising things about the Next Day Personal Loan process.

So let’s dive in.

Ready to get started?

Remember applying only takes 2 minutes, is free, and you’re under no obligation. Just give a fake phone number on the initial application if you want to avoid them calling you. You can always correct it later as you get further into the process.

Who is Next Day Personal Loan?

Next Day Personal Loan is a lender network; they don’t actually lend money themselves.

Instead, they find lenders to match up to your personal information and get you approved quickly and easily.

They have been in business since 2006.

Because they aren’t a lender themselves, I was unable to locate a Better Business Bureau report on Next Day Personal Loan. But all the lenders they work with DO have BBB pages.

Reviews of some of the companies Next Day Personal Loan works with

  • Accredited Debt Relief – A+ rating with the BBB
  • Even Financial – A- rating with the BBB
  • Lending Point – A+ rating with the BBB / 2 stars (out of 5, but only 11 reviews)
  • LendingTree – B rating with the BBB / 3 stars (out of 5)

In going through the customer reviews of each of these companies Next Day Loan uses to service your loan, the following seem to be the top negative issues:

  • Accredited Debt Relief – 4.5 stars (out of 5 – 125 mostly excellent reviews)
  • Even Financial – No reviews or complaints (but they are a new company)
  • Lending Point – Lots of complaints about poor customer service
  • LendingTree – Many complaints about unsolicited spam calls

So based on the reviews I read, I believe you can expect and honest, speedy, and safe experience applying for and obtaining a loan through Next Day Personal Loan.

But, as with any business transaction, make sure you read the terms of your agreement.

I saw a number of complaints on some of these companies where it was obvious the person who applied for the loan was unaware of the payback terms, interest rates, and fees associated with their loan.

Arm yourself with information and you’re less likely to be disappointed.

How quickly can I get a loan from Next Day Personal Loan?

For the purposes of this article, I went through the application process with Next Day Personal Loan.

The entire process took less than 2 minutes. Here are the most important questions I had to answer in the online application process:

  • City and zip code (I did not have to enter my full street address)
  • Social Security Number (but they do a soft-pull which doesn’t show up as a full credit inquiry) – but I also entered a bogus one and the form did accept it
  • An estimate of my credit score (I selected the mid-range for a “good” score)
  • Email address
  • Phone number (I gave a fake one since I didn’t want a bunch of calls and the form accepted it)
  • The amount I wanted to borrow (I plugged in $10,000)
  • Estimated monthly salary (I select the option of between $4,000-$6,000)

Then, seconds after I hit done, it said I had been approved with a company named  Accredited Debt Relief.

A quick check on that company shows a Better Business Bureau rating of A+.

They also have 4.5 stars (out of 5) on the BBB site. It also showed 16 complaints which is a great number considering the company has been in business since 2011.

Most of the complaints were not from customers but people complaining about unsolicited phone calls.

So I feel good about recommending them.

No matter which company Next Day Personal Loan matches you up with though, once approved, you can get funds as quickly as the day after you apply!

That being said, if you have a complicated financial situation or an extremely low credit score, I would expect the process to take a little longer.

Can I get a personal loan with a 500 credit score from Next Day Personal Loan?

Each lender that Next Day Personal Loan works with has different terms.

However, when you apply on the Next Day website, if you plug in a credit score of 500, they naturally match you with lenders who have experience working with people with lower credit scores.

To see what happens, I applied a 2nd time on the site (sorry, guys!) and requested a loan amount of $10,000.

They didn’t have the option to select a credit score of 500, so instead, I had to select “Under 599“.

I proceeded with the application within about 2 minutes but was essentially denied. Instead, they said “good news, you may still be eligible” and I had to answer additional questions about:

  • My employer (including phone number and name, both of which I made up)
  • How long I had been with that employer (I selected the 5+ years option)
  • Whether I owned or rented my home (I put owned)
  • How long I had been at that address (I selected the 5+ years option)

Then it asked me to select a new loan amount of up to $1,000 and started a new approval process (which took about 2 minutes).

Then it matched me with a company called Better Loan Choice and I had to answer a few more questions. This process was clearly lengthier than my original test application, presumably because of the low credit score I submitted.

Unfortunately that company, unlike all the others I looked at that Next Day Personal Loan uses, has a D rating with the BBB. They have a number of other companies under their umbrella of brands of which, Better Loan Choice is one.

Because of how the BBB site is set up, it was impossible to separate complaints that were specific to Better Loan Choice, but glancing through them (there were 10 complaints which are not a high number) I did NOT see any specific to that business.

The complaints that were there were for their other companies and seemed to revolve around spam calls and emails.

The BBB rating was due almost exclusively due to one of their other companies that sells extended auto warranties being misleading in one of their ads.

But the short answer is that while you can likely get a small loan through Next Day Personal Loan if you have bad credit, just know you won’t have as many good options as those with a higher credit score.

It’s also a safe bet your interest rate will be higher with a lower credit score too.

Is it a good idea to get a personal loan?

This is ultimately a question you’ll have to answer for yourself.

How I run my house, in conjunction with my wife, is that for the most part, we very rarely ever borrow money. BUT, that wasn’t always the case.

There were a number of times when my wife and I had to borrow money to keep our family afloat. Life happens and sometimes that’s necessary if we don’t have a solid financial plan.

Ultimately, the best financial plan is to have an emergency fund savings account that you use only for emergencies. That’s what my wife and I have in place now and it saves us from having to get personal loans when the unexpected happens.

An emergency fund works best when it’s just in a savings account you can transfer into your checking account. This shouldn’t be viewed as an investment, so interest rates don’t matter.

Ideally, have 3 to 6 months of your monthly household expenses (which is different than income) in the account.

Go towards the 6 months side if your household has only 1 income or has irregular income. If you have 2 stable consistent incomes, then 3 months is fine for that.

While you can certainly apply for a loan with Next Day Personal Loan, if you are interested in learning more about emergency funds, I wrote the ultimate guide which you can read on my site just by clicking that link.

What can I use a personal loan from Next Day Personal Loans for?

A personal loan is a small-ish loan that can be used for virtually any expense:

  • Debt consolidation
  • Paying off high-interest loans or credit cards
  • Home improvement projects
  • Vacations

Personal loans are often superior to charging on credit cards or bank loans due to both the ease of application, the speed in which you can get the cash, and the relatively low interest rates.

In most cases, you can apply for a loan as small as $100, or as big a $40,000.

What is the BBB rating of Next Day Personal Loan?

Because they aren’t a lender themselves, Next Day Personal Loan doesn’t have a Better Business Bureau page.

The good news is if a lot of people had bad dealings with them, they would have filed complaints (you can file a complaint against any business whether or not they currently have a BBB page).

The bad news is we don’t have an easy way to see what others think of them.

There are a fair number of review websites online, but I don’t always trust those, so I tend to stick with the BBB and Yelp (for which Next Day does not have a page).

However, the lenders that Next Day Personal Loan work with do have BBB pages, so here are some of the top ones and their ratings:

  • Accredited Debt Relief – A+ rating with the BBB
  • Even Financial – A- rating with the BBB
  • Lending Point – A+ rating with the BBB
  • Lending Tree – B rating with the BBB

I went into a little greater detail on those above but based on the reviews I read, you can expect and honest, speedy, and safe experience applying for and obtaining a loan through Next Day Personal Loan.

Will applying at Next Day Personal Loan hurt my credit score?

That’s more good news.

Often times when you apply for anything that asks for a social security number, that will show up on your credit score as a “hard” credit inquiry. Too many credit inquiries in too short a period of time send up a red flag and can temporarily lower your credit score.

That’s because it looks like you are applying for multiple loans with multiple people where you could be potentially borrowing money from more than 1 lender at the same time which looks suspicious.

Next Day Personal Loan does ask for your social security number. But they run what is called a “soft pull“.

A soft credit inquiry is when you check your own credit report, an employer checks, or you apply for pre-approval offers (which is essentially what a Next Day Personal Loan application is).

According to credit reporting bureau Experian, a soft credit inquiry will “have no effect on your credit score as they are never considered as a factor in credit scoring models”.

Once Next Day Personal Loan pairs you with a lender, however, once you proceed from there, it would be a traditional credit check. So don’t proceed if you aren’t sure you want the loan.
