The Joys of An Outdoor Gift for Your Child This Fall

Kids grow up so fast these days. One minute they’re playing with their toy cars, dolls, and building blocks, the next they’re up and out the door starting their first day at work. It’s important to cherish every moment you can with your child as time passes way too quickly.

Some of the most joyous (and memorable) occasions for that of children are when their birthday comes round. But for a child, it takes forever. In the time between birthdays, they’ve thought about at least 20 different gifts they want, and can probably tell you the ins and outs of each and every one.

Fall is a great time of year to have a birthday, as it’s not too hot, but not too cold either. Most places are still open, and the temperature outside (depending on where you live of course) is usually still warm enough to have some outdoor fun.

If you’re stuck for something cool to get your kid this year, or just want some inspiration before the big day arrives, then check out these for some awesome ideas:

#1 – Metal Detector

If you’re looking for a real adventure, then be sure to consider getting a metal detector for your child. With one of these in tow you can set off on a real live treasure hunt, seeking all there is to be found within the depths of the garden (or a sandbox, maybe).

#2 – Go Kart 60

What kid (young and old) doesn’t like whizzing around on a super-fast go kart? These little speed machines have always been popular among the kids. They come available in a range of colors, sizes, and power, and are great fun for the whole family to enjoy.

#3 –  Sandbox

Sandboxes are great as they allow your kids to go wild with their imaginations, creating fun and adventure with natural resources. These are pretty easy to be picked up and come available in kids of shape, size, and design.

#4 – Telescope

If your child is an inquisitive one, always looking for the answers to all the world’s most intriguing questions, then why not broaden their horizons that little further with the help of a junior telescope. They may not be quite as powerful as those at NASA, but these things are great for peering at the moon at night.

#5 – Outdoor Scavenger Hunt Game

As far as outdoor games go, this is one of my favorites and is great fun for the whole family. It enables everyone to get down with nature and enhance their exploration skills.

Kids love looking for things and will literally spend hours wandering round the garden as they attempt to quench their curiosity.

Conclusion

Buying a good outdoor gift for your child doesn’t have to be difficult, and it doesn’t have to cost a lot of money. A lot of the toy ideas on this page can be bought for less than $50 and all are very likely to please. Now it’s simply a case of narrowing down your choice.
